Extraction Performance

The Glem Gas GQA90TBLED delivers a maximum extraction capacity of 1200 cubic metres per hour, providing substantial airflow for everyday cooking as well as more demanding high-heat cooking.

Its key advantage is the off-board motor system. Rather than locating the fan motor directly above the cooktop, the motor unit is installed separately within the ceiling cavity. This helps substantially reduce the amount of motor noise experienced within the kitchen.

Three selectable fan speeds allow extraction performance to be matched to cooking conditions, while the 150mm ducting system provides the airflow capacity required by the remote motor.

Design

Finished in stainless steel, the Glem Gas GQA90TBLED features a clean square-line canopy designed to complement contemporary kitchens and stainless steel cooking appliances.

The canopy measures 900mm wide x 500mm deep, making it particularly well suited to 90cm cooking surfaces. Its adjustable flue allows the overall installation height to range from approximately 570mm to 1050mm.

A major design feature is the full LED lighting panel, which provides broad, shadow-reducing illumination rather than relying on small individual lamps.

The panel also forms part of the perimeter extraction design and hinges down to provide access to the two mesh filters.

The GQA90TBLED requires a suitable ceiling cavity for installation of the remote motor. The rangehood must be externally ducted and installed in accordance with Glem Gas installation instructions and applicable Australian requirements.

Because the effectiveness and noise performance of an off-board rangehood can be affected by duct length, bends and the external vent arrangement, professional installation is recommended.
