Extraction Performance
The Glem Gas GQA120TBLED delivers a maximum extraction capacity of 1200 cubic metres per hour, providing the airflow required for larger cooking surfaces and demanding cooking applications.
Unlike a conventional canopy rangehood where the fan motor is positioned directly above the cooking surface, the Quiet Air system separates the motor from the canopy. The remote fan motor is installed within a suitable ceiling or roof space, moving the primary source of fan noise away from the kitchen.
Three selectable fan speeds allow extraction performance to be adjusted to suit cooking conditions, from lighter everyday cooking through to high-heat frying and other cooking methods that produce greater quantities of steam and smoke.
Design
Finished in stainless steel, the Glem Gas GQA120TBLED features a substantial 1200mm-wide square-line canopy designed to complement larger freestanding cookers and cooktops.
One of its standout design features is the full-width LED lighting panel. Rather than relying on small individual lamps, the broad panel produces bright, low-consumption and shadow-reducing illumination across the cooking area.
The LED panel also forms part of the perimeter extraction system and hinges down to provide access to the removable mesh grease filters.
The canopy measures 1200mm wide x 500mm deep, with an adjustable overall height of approximately 570–1050mm.

Included Accessories

The GQA120TBLED requires suitable space within the ceiling or roof cavity for installation of the remote fan motor. Glem specifically notes that where there is no suitable location for the remote motor—such as some apartment installations—the rangehood may not be suitable.
The rangehood must be externally ducted and installed in accordance with Glem Gas installation instructions and applicable Australian requirements. The manufacturer's installation guide specifies minimum mounting clearances of 650mm above a gas cooking surface and 550mm above an electric cooking surface.
